Trinity Boring Solutions large-scale HDD rig. Yukon, Oklahoma.
Trinity Boring Solutions was founded in 1965. For more than six decades, the company has provided underground utility installation services to contractors, municipalities, utility companies and property owners across Oklahoma. The company is based at 9102 NW Expressway in Yukon, Oklahoma, in the Oklahoma City metro area, and serves projects statewide from that location.
What started as a small boring operation has grown into one of Oklahoma’s most experienced trenchless utility contractors. Over those 60 years, the company has worked through the evolution of boring technology from early mechanical boring to the modern horizontal directional drilling equipment used today. The institutional knowledge built over that time represents something a newer contractor simply cannot replicate: an understanding of Oklahoma’s soil conditions, subsurface geology, regulatory environment and the practical realities of working in this state.
Trinity Boring Solutions is locally owned and operated. The people who answer the phone, prepare the quotes and operate the equipment in the field are the same people who have been serving Oklahoma contractors for years. When you call Trinity Boring Solutions, you are talking to the company, not a national call center or a dispatch service. That direct relationship with our customers is reflected in the 5.0-star Google rating and the repeat business from contractors across the state who call us first when they need underground work done.
What Trinity Boring Solutions Does
Trinity Boring Solutions is a full-service underground utility contractor. We self-perform horizontal directional drilling (HDD), utility trenching, vacuum excavation, jack and bore auger boring and combination bore-and-trench projects. We install water lines, gas lines, sewer lines, electrical conduit, fiber optic conduit and storm drain systems. Our equipment fleet includes Ditch Witch and Vermeer directional drills along with excavators, trenching machines and vacuum excavation units.
We work as a primary contractor on municipal and utility company projects and as a specialty subcontractor for general contractors, electricians, plumbers and mechanical contractors who need underground work completed without maintaining their own boring and excavation equipment fleet.
Our self-perform capability across multiple installation methods is what makes Trinity Boring Solutions valuable on combination projects. When a water line project requires trenching across an open easement and boring under a highway crossing, we handle both scopes with the same crew and equipment. There is no handoff between subcontractors, no scheduling gaps and no disputes about who is responsible for what at the transition point.
Our Equipment Fleet
Trinity Boring Solutions operates 10 or more boring rigs of varying sizes, from compact residential rigs capable of working in tight residential lots and landscaped areas, to large-diameter HDD rigs capable of pulling product pipe for municipal water mains, large sewer force mains and river crossings at the scale of the Arkansas River.
Small and Mid-Size HDD Rigs
Used for residential service connections, commercial conduit bores, parking lot crossings and street crossings. Capable of installing 1 inch to 6 inch HDPE pipe and 1 inch to 4 inch conduit bundles. Compact enough to work in easements with limited access.
Large-Diameter HDD Rigs
Used for municipal water mains, sewer force mains, primary electrical duct banks and major river crossings. Capable of pulling 12 inch to 24 inch pipe and larger over long bore lengths requiring high pullback force and large bore diameter.
Trenching and Excavation Equipment
Full size excavators, mini excavators and chain trenching machines for open cut utility installation. Used for storm drain, gravity sewer, water line trench work and combination bore-and-trench projects.
Vacuum Excavation Units
Hydro-vac (vacuum excavation) units used to safely expose existing underground utilities before boring begins. Required near active gas, electric and water lines where mechanical excavation would risk a utility strike.

Okie811 is Oklahoma’s call before you dig service. Trinity Boring Solutions calls 811 before every excavation and boring project in Oklahoma without exception. Safety in underground construction is not a corporate talking point for Trinity Boring Solutions. It is a practical operational requirement that protects our crew, the public, our customers’ property and existing underground infrastructure. We have maintained a consistent safety record across 60 years of operation by following specific practices on every job, every day.
OSHA Compliance on Every Job
OSHA standards for excavation (29 CFR 1926 Subpart P) and underground construction are followed on every Trinity Boring Solutions project. Our operators and field crew are OSHA trained. Competent persons conduct soil classification on all excavations greater than 5 feet deep. Cave-in protection (sloping, shoring or trench box) is always used where required. Our crew is trained to stop work and reassess when conditions change.
Call Before You Dig: Okie811 on Every Project
We contact Okie811 at least 2 full business days before any ground disturbance on any project in Oklahoma. This is not optional. Oklahoma law requires it and we comply without exception. After 811 locates are received, we review all marking in the bore or trench path before equipment begins. Where locate marks are near the planned bore path, we use hydro-vac vacuum excavation to hand-expose existing utilities before we commit the boring equipment to that path.
Hydro-Vac Locating Before Every Bore
Hydro-vac (vacuum excavation) is the practice of using pressurized water and a vacuum to safely expose underground utilities without the risk of mechanical damage. Trinity Boring Solutions uses hydro-vac to verify the location and depth of existing utilities at bore entry and exit points and at any intermediate points where existing utilities are marked within the bore corridor. This is the most reliable method for preventing utility strikes during horizontal directional drilling.
Why Contractors and Property Owners Choose Trinity Boring Solutions
Oklahoma contractors who have worked with Trinity Boring Solutions once tend to call us first on every subsequent project. There are specific reasons for this, and they have nothing to do with marketing or sales pitches.
When a contractor calls Trinity Boring Solutions, they get a direct answer on pricing, availability and schedule. There is no extended callback queue. We give contractors the information they need to make decisions and move their projects forward.
Utility emergencies do not wait for business hours. A broken water main, a damaged conduit or a failed service line needs to be repaired immediately. Trinity Boring Solutions provides 24-hour emergency boring and excavation response for Oklahoma contractors and utility companies when a repair cannot wait until the next business day.
Trinity Boring Solutions provides written quotes with defined scope. We do not quote a low number and add extras after the fact. If the project scope changes due to unforeseen conditions, we communicate the cost impact before proceeding, not after the invoice arrives.
Underground utility damage is a serious and costly event. Trinity Boring Solutions has built its safety record on locate verification, hydro-vac exposure of existing utilities and conservative bore path selection when conflicts are present. Our job is to install the utility we are hired to install without damaging the infrastructure that is already in the ground.
We self-perform directional boring, trenching, vacuum excavation and jack and bore. A general contractor who hires Trinity Boring Solutions for a combination project does not need to coordinate multiple specialty subcontractors. We bring the full scope of underground utility installation capability to the job.
