HDD installs Schedule 40/80 PVC and HDPE conduit beneath roads, parking lots, and finished sites with entry and exit pits the size of a sheet of plywood. Multi-duct pulls install two to six conduits in a single bore, keeping spacing consistent for pulling and heat dissipation.

How Do Utility Coordination, Potholing & As-Builts Work?

Electric bores routinely cross gas, water, fiber, and other electric lines. Every bore starts with 811 locates, and we vacuum-pothole crossings where depth matters. Drill head position is tracked continuously, and we provide depth logs and as-built information so the owner’s records match what is actually in the ground.

What size electric conduit can you bore in?

Anything from a single 2-inch street light circuit to 6-inch ducts and multi-way banks. Bore diameter and reamer passes are sized to the duct bundle.

Can you bore on grade for electrical duct?

Yes. HDD holds the profile the bore plan calls for, and we proof the conduit after pullback so cable pulls meet the electrical contractor’s requirements.

Do you install the conduit only, or the wire too?

We install the conduit, mule tape, and tracer where specified. Cable pulling stays with the electrical contractor — our job is to hand over clean, proofed duct.

How fast can a road crossing bore be done?

A typical two-lane road crossing with a single duct is a one-day bore including setup and cleanup, subject to permits and locates.
